| Nu-Joint (NJ) is by far the most exciting sewerage and drainage jointing method developed
in Australia and now covered by design registration. NJ is unique in that it combines the best features of MJ and PJ in one perfectly designed unit. Neat in appearance and speedy to join, NJ has all of the valuable inherent qualities of cast iron such as outstanding strength and durability, the ability to withstand intense heat and abuse, and the capacity to absorb discharge noise. NJ pipe and fittings are delivered with all components installed and pre-set to receive the NJ pipe. No glue or expensive tools are required. To make the joint simply push the NJ pipe or spigot into the socket and tighten with the 'C' spanner. That's all there is to achieving a stable and robust assembly. Because the NJ system required the O.D. of the pipe to have a closer tolerance than other C.I. joints, the pipe is marked with a continuous silver line along the barrel. |
