FLOW RATES
All sumps which are required to remove rainwater have a certified flow rate. The flow rate stated is the minimum flow achievable assuming the sump is in a clean workable condition. We have found that a greatly increased flow can be achieved when a dropper pipe of 100mm diameter and 600mm long is added. Our test recorded a three fold increase in the flow but the slightest interruption to the flow at the grate immediately reduces the flow to the rate specified. "A siphonic action is easily created but as easily interrupted".

We understand that our standard product range may not completely suit your specific requirements. Crevet is able to adapt and develop products for specific applications. We would be please to quote on any changes you require.

Most sumps have a dual joint socket (detailed below). The socket can be supplied with either a push-in jont rubber or mechanical joint components. The plumber can choose themethod that best suits the installation.
