Noise Suppression REPORT ATS-159 Transmission Loss test: Crevet Pty. Ltd Test: The determination of the sound power emitted form two different sewerage piping systems measured according to Australian Standard No. AS1217.2 Sample Tested: A measurement was taken of the noise emitted from Cast Iron and Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC). A written description of the test including the configuration is given in the body of the report. It was found that Cast Iron is quieter than FRC over the tested frequency range. Date of Test: 11/01/95 REPORT ATS-158 Transmission Loss test: Crevet Pty. Ltd Test: The determination of te sound power emitted from five different sewerage piping systems measured according to Australian Standard No. 1217.2 Sample Tested: A measurement was taken of the noise emitted from Cast Iron, Polyethylene, copper, stainless steel and PVC pipe. A written description of the test including the configuration is given in the body of the report. In this test it was found that the Cast Iron pipe was signficantly quieter than the other four pipes over most of the frequency range. Date of Test: 13/12/94 & 11/01/95
