DESCRIPTION:
The Hydracheck 11 underground hydrant is a development of the Maxiflo 2000 spring hydrant.
The Hydracheck 11 applies the same principle of the Maxiflo 2000 spring hydrant with the addition of an integral spring loaded checkvalve located at the flanged entry to the unit. The Hydracheck 11 hydrant utilises the integral gunmetal check valve to give a positive shut off in reverse flow or negative head situation.
The Hydracheck 11 hydrant is currently available in 80mm flanged table B5 to AS4087 which allows for connection to any existing 80mm table C/D hydrant tee. Hydracheck 11 is the ideal hydrant for any installations that permit access by parties other than the local statutory authority to the potable water system.

The Hydracheck 11 backflow prevention situation created with the integral check valve significantly decreases the possibility of contamination as a result of backflow from the use of the hydrant by a third party. This is an increasingly important issue facing the water industry in Australia today and another example of the complete solution available from Crevet.

COATING INFORMATION:
Hydracheck 11 hydrant is coated with a thermal bonded polymeric coating system in accordance with AS4158. This standard specifies a minimum film thickness and performance characteristics to ensure continuity in the coating and subsequent product.The following table identifies the critical coating thickness requirements of AS4158 for both types of standard thermal coating system in use in the Australian water industry.
