Data Sheet: Hydratech 2000

DESCRIPTION:
The Hydratech 2000 hydrant is a combination of the Maxiflo 2000 spring hydrant and the NT Hydravalve. The purpose of this combination is to give the added benefit of being able to provide dual flow control and isolation for the hydrant operators. The Hydratech 2000 hydrant has an additional benefit of blackflow prevention with the free floating jumper valve in the body of the control valve mechanism. The Hydracheck 2000 is a product designed for applications where mains pressures and flow fluctuate. The Hydracheck 2000 hydrant is also well suited to aboveground installations

BENEFITS:

  • Flow rate 24 l/s at 500 kPa
  • Positive, reverse flow shut-off.
  • Standard Hydrant components
  • Dual function
  • Compact design
  • Performance tested flow characteristics
  • Corrosion resistant coating

COATING INFORMATION:
Hydratech 2000 hydrant is coated with a thermal bonded polymeric coating system in accordance with AS4158. This standard specifies a minimum film thickness and performance characteristics to ensure continuity in the coating and subsequent product. The following table identifies the critical coating thickness requirements of AS4158 for both types of standard thermal coating system in use in the Australian water industry.
