Crevet is one of Australia's leading manufacturer and distributor of hydraulic products into the building and civil construction industries. Crevet products range from cast iron based drainage products, ie. Crevet LN, Flomax, through to the latest in materials for major infrastructure, Ductile Iron Pipes, Griptite and Nortite fittings and Norcast valves. these two ranges are complemented with a full range of pressure and non-pressure PVC products.

Crevet was acquired by the Crane Group in July 2001. The Crane Group is a publicly listed Australian company which was originally founded 130 years ago. Today it is a leading manufacturer of non-ferrous metal products and plastic pipes and fittings. It is also the largest distributor of plumbing supplies in Australasia, with more than 200 stores - trading as Tradelink in Australia - and Mico Wakefield in New Zealand. The company is known for its sound strategic direction and clear focus on satisfying customer needs.

Nearly every major building or infrastructure project in this country has a quality Crevet manufactured product fitted or supplying a resource to it.

Coming from its humble beginnings as a foundry dedicated to the sugar industry in far North Queensland, Crevet Metal Manufacturing is now one of the leading manufacturers of fittings and valves for the water and sewerage industries in Australia. This was beginning of the unified Crevet organisation that is now recognised as an industry leader in Australia and New Zealand.

Crevet is a leading supplier of pipes, valves and fittings to government water authorities and private contractors in Australia and New Zealand. Crevet have also continued to develop high quality products and services to meet the ever demanding building construction industry. The focus on quality product, fitness for purpose and lowest whole of life cost is the reason that Crevet have continued to be a key supplier to major commercial plumbing contractors and water authorities alike.

Today Crevet employs approximately 225 people and sells to customers ranging from large metropolitan water boards to the merchant trade and contractors.
