Multi-fit Joints

DESCRIPTION:
Multi-Fit Joints (MFJ) consist of two castings that seal to either asbestos cement or cast iron pipelines by means of two moulded rubber seals that seat into longitudinal and circumferential grooves in each casting. Cup head bolts key into the castings to facilitate clamping of the castings together to form a watertight seal. Lubricant should be applied to the pipe surfaces to assist in fitting the joint.

Each joint is provided with a tapping boss for fitting of an off take.

Multi-fit Joints have been specifically designed to fit cast iron pipes having outside

diameters in accordance with Australian Standards AS1723 and AS/NZS2280; asbestos cement pipes with outside diameters in accordance with AS1711 and BS 486; and uPVC pressure pipes with outside diameters to ductile iron pipe dimensions in accordance with AS/NZS1477 Series 2.
